About Us

In her early years, Shirley Locke learned how to bake sweet potato pies from her mother, Ernestine who was from Selma, Alambama. Shirley's mother taught Shirley how to bake southern style sweet potato pies the way she use to baked them in the deep south. All ingredients were made from scratch and the pies were baked to perfection. They were delicious.

In 2006, Shirley not only began baking the same delicious southern style sweet potato pies for friends and co-workers, she also began baking specialty cheesecakes for them too. The cheese cakes are made with graham cracker crust with Shirley's own special blend of ingredients. Everyone loved both the southern style sweet potato pies and cheesecakes.

After receiving so many rave reviews from family, friends and co-workers about how delicious the pies and cheesecakes were, Shirley decided to turn her past time hobby into a small business.

In 2009, Shirley established Shirley's Sweet Potato Pies, LLC. All pies and cheesecakes can be ordered not only for special occasions and holidays, but all year round.

Yes! All major credit cards.

What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or issue refunds. However, we want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase. If for some reason you are unsatisfied, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to address your concern.

Can I place a special order?
Yes. If you have a large order, its best to place a special order. We book up fast everyday, so even if you need your pie or cake a few months in advance, it's best to place an order ahead of time. We require 48 hours notice.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Yes. There is a $25 cancellation fee for all special orders.
